Cemig at Hospitals Action Promote the replacement of light bulbs, tumble dryers, autoclaves (sterilization equipment) and surgical focus bulbs, in addition to implementing photovoltaic power generation systems, contributing to the reduction of energy consumption in health institutions. Public Public and philanthropic hospitals Scope 80 institutions within Cemig’s concession area. Implementation In progress. Action Promoting a mix of energy interventions in hospital units located within Cemig´s concession area, in the State of Minas Gerais, through the replacement of inefficient equipment and the implementation of an Energy Management System. These energy efficiency interventions will be focused on lighting systems, sterilization of hospital materials, laundry equipment, surgical focus and generation systems distributed with photovoltaic panels. Public Improvements should be prioritizing those hospitals whose interventions have the greatest impact on the cost-benefit ratio. Scope The project also intends to support hospitals that are not in a regular commercial situation with Cemig. Hospitals that present such condition will be given alternatives for the settlement of their debts under special conditions. Implementation In progress.
