Operating in the generation, transmission and distribution of electric energy, Cemig does not neglect to conduct research in order to expand the development of its business in a manner that benefits society. As it has opted to do so, Cemig seeks external partnerships to support this venue of its operations, which has resulted in operational agreements and strategic alliances with various knowledge generation institutes and centers, in addition to universities and industry. All in the name of technological innovation, conceptualized in accordance with the principle of open innovation.
