Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora Daycare Center in Bom Despacho

In December, 1999, the Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora (Our Lady of Assistance) Daycare Center was adopted by Asin volunteers in Bom Despacho. The project aims to help approximately 50 children in the Center by engaging in a variety of activities: improving the children's dietary program; upgrading the infrastructure (such as changing the circuit breakers); painting the premises and performing necessary repairs; optimizing the vegetable garden so as to make a contribution towards an healthier diet; acquiring uniforms for the children; holding of holiday parties - children's day, Christmas parties during which 'godparents' are paired off with children; and donating staple food subsistence packages to the families.
