Support for the Comumviver School Community Association in Belo Horizonte

Comumviver is a specialized school for people posing special educational challenges. Youngsters with mental disabilities, invasive developmental impairments, Down's syndrome and genetic and neurological dysfunctions are worked with. The association has been offering students not only preschool and primary school education but also job capacitation workshops since 1980. Asin Project volunteers contribute with both financial and material resources to an improved service level in the areas of occupational therapy, physical education, theater, music, information technology and recreation, among others. Volunteers also become the student's "godparents". Seventy-six youngsters benefit from the program. The entity is located at Ave. Barbacena, 1477, Santo Agostinho - Belo Horizonte.
