In order to keep up with technological progress, constant improvement and efficiency gains, Cemig, in partnership with Fapemig (Minas Gerais Research Support Foundation), developed a project to study, map and develop cheaper and effective service and communication channels to enable a personalized and exclusive interaction.

This study resulted, among other products, in the construction and implementation of the following service channels: 
- Cemig Torpedo: Service, via SMS, of customer requests;
- Cemig Atende: Application that offers the service to several fronts;
Based on the MUI (Multimodal User Interface) concept these products make the virtual relationship more attractive, easy and efficient.​
