Smile Project

To educate and provide dental treatment to children, adolescents and adults and, in so doing, promote the valuation of the human being. That is the mission of the Smile Project, which has been carried out by the Emborcação Power Plant employees since 2002, in partnership with the Nosso Lar Spiritualist Center, voluntary dentists and the Hotel Big Executive. The project seeks to bring improvements to both the education and health of those living in the Miranda and Vila Veno districts, in the city of Araguari. The Volunteer team is planning on renovating the dental office and its facilities, acquire a new chair and the necessary tools for the dentists, besides entering into new partnerships that will enable the office's continued operation. 500 families are to benefit from the initiative.
