Youths and Guitars Project

The "Youths and Guitars of the City of Itutinga" Project is awakening in the youths of the Itutinga region an interest in learning how to play this well-known and versatile instrument - the guitar. The objective is to promote values such as discipline and a respect for self and others, thereby helping to raise the self-esteem of these youths. The integration of the local communities' youths into mainstream society is being fostered through the theoretical and practical study of music. In total, 23 children and adolescents at the Jaime Ferreira Leite State School are participating in the project.
